When adding a job to your RB database or at any time later, you can add to or edit the job’s information.
You can find a job several ways:
Calendar > Jobs (List View)/Jobs (Monthly View)/Jobs (Weekly View) (see Searching jobs).
If the job is part of a case, open the case (see Searching cases). In the View Case window, click More > Jobs (List View). All jobs tied to the case appear in the Jobs (List View) panel. Click the hyperlinked Job No.
Click next to a Job No. field.
When you click Edit on a job with a Status of Request New (job requested by client through RB Connect), a popup appears asking if you want to change the job status to New. Click Yes to automatically open the Change Status panel with *Status to be already set to New. See Changing case or job status.
If the job date changes, reschedule the job. See Rescheduling jobs. If the job is canceled, see Canceling jobs.
For basic job information, such as the witness and job type, see Entering general job information.
For information about the ordering/scheduling client(s), see Entering ordering client information.
To designate the job’s location, see Entering job locations.
To enter miscellaneous information, see Entering additional job information.
To add parties to the job, see Adding parties. To update existing parties to the job, see Updating parties.
If a job requires special skills, such as Medical or Realtime, see Requiring specialties.
If you offer reward points for job bookings, see Awarding job points.
To update the default or add parts of the job that require separate resources, see Entering tasks.
To enter resources’ assignment acknowledgements, see Logging resources’ acknowledgements.
To add files to the job’s repository, see Uploading files to a repository.
To make notes on the job, see Making notes.
You do not have to go to the Turn In function in the Production module to begin job turn in if you are already in a View Job/Edit Job window. Click More > Turn In at the top of any job detail window to being turning in that job. See Generating invoices.
