After entering the required case name (see Setting up cases), you can enter or update case information at any time.

Default status appears. In a New Case window, Status is New and can’t be changed.
Otherwise, to change the case status, see Changing case or job status.
Case number. RB can add the case number to RB-PDF Transcripts (RB9 only).
Category case falls under. (Case types and default are set in Lists.)
Scheduled date for trial to begin. See Date Navigator.
If this case will be heard in a federal district court.
Court or county of jurisdiction.
Sales representative (account executive) assigned to case. To select a sales rep, click . (See Looking up resources.) RB’s Sales Commission Report uses this field to find commissionable invoices.
Resource who will receive a commission for jobs associated with this case. To select a Client Of resource, click . (See Looking up resources.) If a resource is entered here, Turn In will calculate commissions on case jobs for this resource instead of the Client Of resource listed for the contact. Also, RB’s Sales Commission Report uses this field to find commissionable invoices.
Complete case name.
Text entered here appears on jobs related to the case.
Unlimited character count. Text entered here appears in the View Case/Edit Case windows and on Assignment Notification worksheets sent to resources if this optional field is added to the worksheets in Form Templates. To:
