Canceling cases

If a case is canceled, not settled, you can note that as the case status so your case history is accurate. If there are any upcoming jobs scheduled, you can cancel them plus any associated tasks when you change the case status.

  1. In a View Case window, click Edit.
  2. In the Change Status panel, select Canceled in the *Status to be drop-down.
  3. Enter notes about the cancellation in the Remarks field, if desired.
  4. Select today’s date or the relevant date in the Cancel jobs after this date field to cancel all future jobs scheduled for the case automatically. See Date Navigator.
  5. Check the Cancel tasks belonging to cancelled jobs box to have all tasks related to the canceled jobs canceled too.
  6. Click Save.
