Scheduling jobs from online requests
RB9 only
If you offer clients the ability to schedule jobs online through RB Connect, RB9 will automatically assign them job numbers and import the information submitted with the job request. Review the information submitted, add your own information, and update the job’s status.

View job request
- If you receive a message in the notification area of your browser, click the alert box to open Notifications and Messages. Or click [your name on the screen]
> Notifications and Messages.
- In the Notifications and Messages window, click the hyperlinked new job request.
- In the Message–New Job(#...) window, click the assigned Job No.
NOTE: Find requests from your calendar
You can also find online job requests in your Jobs calendar. Select Request New, Request Confirm, and Request Cancel in Job Status to see any client online requests. See Searching jobs.
- In the View Job window, the job information submitted by the client through RB Connect appears and the job’s Status is Request New. Click Edit.
Update status & other information
- In the popup that appears, click Yes to automatically open the Change Status panel with *Status to be already set to New. Click Save or see Changing case or job status.
- If you have added a custom data section to your RB Connect in Connect Preferences (see Adding custom sections to online forms), scroll or jump to the Custom Data pane in the Edit Job window to see what instructions/information the client has sent. The fields in this section are uneditable.
- To update other information, see Updating jobs.
Save & confirm job
- Click Save > Save & Edit.
- Confirm the job settings with your client by sending them a job confirmation email. See Confirming single jobs. (If you prefer to send batch confirmations, see Sending job confirmations or cancellations.)
- Click Save > Save & Close.
