Updating multiple jobs at once
If you have a number of jobs that need the same information changed, such as a group of jobs that were set to the wrong job type, save time by changing all of the affected jobs at once.
 - Tools > Bulk Update
 
 - In the Bulk Update window, select Jobs in the Entity drop-down.
 
 - 
  
Select the field you want to update in the Choose field to update drop-down: 
  
  
 - Selections in Set value to vary depending on the field you chose to update above. If you selected: 
  
  - 
    
Job Type
  Select a category in the drop-down. Job categories and list default  are set in Lists > Jobs.

Sales Rep
    Click 
.To find the sales representative you want to change to in the Lookup Resource panel, see Looking up resources. 
  
 - Click Next.
 
 - In the Update To panel, Search By defaults to *Job Date. In Search Criteria fields, enter or select dates in the Date Navigator for Job Date From and Job Date To (required).
 
 - To further restrict results, select a filter in the next drop-down:

 (blank)
   Default. If you want to see all jobs within the date range selected.

Case
   To restrict results to jobs from a single case. See Looking up cases.

Ordering Firm
   To restrict results to jobs from a single firm. See Looking up firms.

Ordering Contact 
   To restrict results to jobs from a single contact. See Looking up contacts.

Sales Rep
    When bulk updating sales reps only
     To search for jobs by the assigned sales representative, click

 - Click 
. RB9 displays all the jobs that fit the search criteria. 
 - Check the box in the Results header to select all jobs in the grid, or check only the boxes of specific jobs to update.
 
 - Click Update. Then click OK in the popup that appears.
