Assignment Notification preferences

Options and content for emails, text messages, and iCalendar attachments that notify resources of assignments. Emails can automatically include file attachments from the relevant Firm-, Job-, Task-, and Case-level repositories, as well as the All-Resources repository.

TIP: Include email link for acknowledging jobs

If you have RB Connect, set up your Assignment Notification email message so your resources can acknowledge jobs with one click. Insert the inset data field button > Task > AcknowledgementURL data field into the body of the email (see Customizing email messages, web pages & stamps) or the embedded worksheet form (see Editing form templates: Data Fields options).

When resources click the link in the email, it connects to your RB9 Calendar through your RB Connect to automatically set the task’s Acknowledged Date to the current date.

TIP: Automatically include blank billing sheet

Make resources’ lives a little easier by providing them with a blank billing sheet when notifying them of jobs:

  1. Select “Billing Sheet” in File Type to be automatically attached to email from All-Resources-level, Firm-level, Job-level, Task-level, and Case-level repository drop-down to have a blank billing sheet automatically attached to these notifications. See Customizing communications.
  2. Upload your blank billing sheet to the All-Resources repository with Billing Sheet as its File Type. See Uploading files to a repository.
