Form Templates’ Data Fields options let you insert RB9 data fields and other fields into your forms. You can also delete fields from forms.
Continued from Creating/updating forms & letters.
In the New Form/Edit Form window, click Data Fields:
Click in the form where you want to insert a data field, then select the field from one of the contextualized drop-downs:
Select an RB9 data field to add to the form where the cursor is.
Select a special RB9 data field that can list multiple RB9 entries. Then in the Insert List Data popup’s Select Data Field options, choose which entry content to include and how it will be displayed in the form. Then click OK.
Select a generic form field to add to the form where the cursor is.
Data fields cannot be deleted with the Delete or Backspace key. To delete a data field:
You can only delete one data field at a time.
You can edit the fields’ appearance on the form using the tools in Home (and Table Tools for List Data fields set as tables).
Instead of listing every available RB9 data field for you to scroll through, RB9 only displays fields related to the category of form you are updating, logically grouped into sets, so you can quickly find a specific merge field.
