Managing notes logs

As you use RB9 Notes Logs, you might find some logs get quite lengthy. As the default, RB9 shows every notes log entry, except canceled notes, for the specific case, job, firm, contact, resource, location, witness, or invoice. You can filter your notes log entries to see only specific types of notes within a log. You can also view canceled notes.

• Filter notes

  To limit which notes you view in the Notes Log pane of any View/Edit window:

  1. Click > Type Filter.
  2. In the Type Filter panel, all boxes are checked by default. Uncheck the Notes Type box in the header, then check the box for each category of notes you want to view. Notes Types are defined in Lists.
  3. Click OK. RB9 filters the Notes Log to show only notes that match the Notes Type(s) selected.

• View canceled notes

  To see a Notes Log’s canceled notes, click  > Show Cancelled Notes. Canceled notes are displayed with a line through the note and include the date and time the note was canceled and who canceled it.
