Starting new tracking

RB9 only

Tracking can be initiated as soon as a job is created (scheduled). Or use the Production Sheet as a guide for which service item’s to track through production.

  1. Initiate tracking item

    1. Production > Tracking
    2. In the Tracking window, click New.
    3. In the New Tracking window, enter the job number for the service item you want to start tracking, then click search button.
    4. RB9 populates some of the fields in the General pane with job information. Some information is not editable. View and update details of any field with an active detail button by clicking it. See Updating jobs and Updating cases.
  2. Enter required info & save

    1. Enter a descriptive title for the tracking item in *Tracking Description (required).
    2. Click Save >
      • Save & Edit: To continue entering and updating information. The window changes to Edit Tracking with additional fields and panes, adds the tracking start date, default step and status. See Updating tracking.
      • Save & Close: To save the tracking item and close the window.
