Find firms directly in your RB database using various search criteria. Before entering a firm into the database, check to see if it is already there. See which contacts are connected to a firm, and add new contacts. See if there are duplicate entries with slightly different names that you can merge together. View financial and job trends of an individual firm.
Enter part of the name of a firm’s city.
Click to select a state or states in the Lookup State popup. See Lookup panel.
Click to select one or more categories of firms in the Lookup Firm Type popup. See Lookup panel. Firm types are set up in Lists > Firms.
Click to find a firm headquarters in the Lookup Parent Firm popup. See Looking up firms.
Click to restrict search to firms that are designated as clients of a specific resource in the Lookup Resource popup. See Looking up resources.
Click to restrict search to firms that are commissionable to a specific sales representative in the Lookup Resource popup. See Looking up resources.
Enter text or click to select an existing tag to restrict search to firms tagged with a specific term. Tags are set up in Lists > Firms.
Default is Yes. Leave as the default if you only want to see firms that you have designated as Active (see Entering general firm information). If you want to see all firms, click to select No.
Enter the entire firm number assigned by RB.
Click Account Overview in the View Firm/Edit Firm window. See Viewing entity activity.
The Firms’ results grid layout is customizable. You can hide or show any column, rearrange the column order, stretch or shrink column widths, designate which column to sort results by in ascending or descending order, and choose which columns you want to always be visible when scrolling through the results. You can save your custom grid layout or return to the default layout. See Customizing grids.
You can look up firms on the fly in any RB function with a Firm field. See Looking up firms.
