Searching Turn In

Find jobs to turn in by case, what stage they are in, or other filters.

TIP: Turn in jobs from job detail window

You do not have to search Turn In to begin job turn in if you are already in a View Job/Edit Job window. Click More > Turn In at the top of any job detail window to being turning in that job.

  1. Set search criteria

    1. Production > Turn In

    2. In the Search By pane, no specific filter is required, but you must use at least one of the search filters:

      • Job No.

        Enter the entire job number.

      • Job Date From/Job Date To

        To search for turned-in jobs by their scheduled job dates, enter date(s) in the field(s) or click each field’s calendar button to select date(s) in Date Navigator.

      • Job Status

        Stage the job is in, e.g., New or Cancelled. Default is ALL. Click look up button to restrict the results (see Lookup panel). Job status options are set in Lists > Jobs.

      • Case

        Click lookup button to look up and select a case (see Looking up cases).

      • Resource

        Click lookup button to look up and select a resource (see Lookup panel).

      • Business Units

        Profit centers or parts of your business you track separately. Default is ALL. Click lookup button to restrict search to jobs tied to specific BUs (see Lookup panel). BUs are set in Business Units.

  2. View results

    1. Click search button. All jobs that fit the search criteria appear in the results pane. Listings are color coded based on their job status. (Job status colors are set in System Preferences > Calendar > Job Status Color.)
    2. Click a hyperlinked job to view details or begin turn-in. See Generating invoices.
