Use Tracking to monitor jobs as they move through your production workflow, including the location of physical media, such as DVDs.
Tracking is not tied to other modules in RB9, i.e., item tracking is not initiated from jobs or Turn In. It is optional; but if you have different people handling a service item from start to finish and/or many service items to produce, use Tracking to ensure nothing slips through the cracks.
You must first customize the module to fit into your workflow, then you can track transcripts, exhibits, video, etc., so you always know their current status. You can also produce reports to document your process.
