Updating exhibit stamps

RB9 only

You can change any aspect of a exhibit stamp, and your changes will apply to all future uses of the stamp. Delete any stamps you no longer need.

1. Setup > Exhibit Stamps
2. In the Exhibit Stamps window, click to see all stamp templates in your database. Or enter a stamp name/partial name in Stamp Name and then click .
3. In the results returned, click the hyperlinked name of the stamp you want to edit or delete.
4. In the View Exhibit Stamp window, click:
• Edit – To update the stamp.
• Delete – To remove the stamp from your list. In the popup that appears, click Yes.
5. If you clicked Edit, you can update any field:

   • *Stamp Name

     Required. Edit the stamp’s label.

   • Box Width (inch)

     Stamp’s width in inches. Overwrite default if desired.

   • Box Height (inch)

     Stamp’s heigth in inches. Overwrite default if desired.

   • Box Border Thickness

     Choose a different thickness in the drop-down.

   • Box Border Color

     To change the stamp’s border color, click . See Picking colors in RB.

   • Box Background Color

     To change the stamp’s background color, click . See Picking colors in RB.

   • Digits of Exhibit No.

     Select a different number length in the drop-down if desired.

   • Leading Character of Exhibit No.

     • 0 – Exhibit numbers will start with a zero (0).
     • (no space) – Exhibit numbers will not have a space preceding the number.
     • (space) – Exhibit numbers will start with a space.

   • Stamp Occurrence

     To change how often the exhibit stamp appears in an exhibit, choose from the drop-down:

     • On every page – Exhibit stamp will appear on every page of multi-page exhibits.
     • On first page – Exhibit stamp will appear once on the exhibit.

   • Stamp Position

     To change where the stamp will appear on an exhibit page, choose from the drop-down.

   • Left/Right/Top/Bottom Margin (inch)

     In inches. Works in conjunction with Stamp Position. For example, with Top Right Stamp Postion, you can overwrite the default Right Margin and Top Margin distances from the paper edge.

   • *Stamp Text

     Required. Edit the text that appears on the stamp. To style the text, see Customizing email messages, web pages & stamps.

   • Show to Resource

     If you allow resources to turn in jobs via RB Connect, select Yes if you want to allow resources to use this stamp on exhibits they turn in online. If you do not want resources to have access to this stamp, select No.

6. Click Preview to review your changes before saving.
7. Click Save.
