Setting RB-PDF Transcript digital signature preferences

RB9 only

Set overall preferences for digital signature options for transcripts created using a particular PDF Transcript profile. (Digital signatures are not allowed for PDF/A formats.)

Continued from Setting global RB-PDF Transcript preferences or Creating PDF transcripts.

1. Scroll or jump to the Digital Signature pane in the Edit PDF Transcript Preference window/Select PDF Transcript Preference window.
2. Specify the following:

• Add bookmark ‘Validate Signer’

  Not allowed for PDF/A formats

  Click to select Yes if you want to include a bookmark labeled, “Validate Signer,” so that the reader of the PDF transcript can validate the signer’s digital signature identity. (This is not common.)

3. Scroll or jump to the Exclude Word pane (see Setting RB-PDF Transcript word exclusion preferences) or another pane to update. (Exclude Word pane appears only in global PDF Transcript Preferences, not in individual RB-PDF Transcript’s Select PDF Transcript Preferences.)
