After setting up Billing Rate Groups, enter your billing rate tables in the appropriate group. Then, when billing, you only have to scroll through the rate tables in one of these smaller groups, instead of your entire list of rate tables.
You can set up billing rate tables 2 ways:
It’s not uncommon to have 100s of billing rates, so if you have already set up some rates, click first to check to see if you are about to duplicate an existing rate before creating a new table.
After setting up billing rates, set up Pay Rate Groups to categorize resources, such as by experience levels and affiliate agencies. (in Setup > Lists > Accounting menu)
