Managing contacts’ award points
If you reward contacts with points for different services, you can monitor each contact’s points, designate who within a firm will receive points earned by this contact, and allow the contact to view and redeem their points online. Point rewards, such as cash or gift certificates, are set up in Lists > Others. Which services earn points is set up in Service Item Master.

Monitor points
- In an Edit Contact window, scroll or jump to the Award Points pane.
- View the contact’s current points status (fields are uneditable):

Current Balance
Total available redeemable points.

Pending Points
Points contact will earn when their currently scheduled jobs are billed.

Points Earned
Total points contact has earned since account was opened, including points already redeemed.

Points Spent
Total point amount the contact has redeemed since account was opened.
- Click
> Points History to view the contact’s entire point history. The Points History panel lists which services earned how many points on which invoices, current status of those points, how they were redeemed, and any notes about the points. Click Close.

Give contacts online access
Check the Show Reward Points menu on Connect box to give the contact access to view and redeem their points in RB Connect.

Manage recipients
In the Award Points To pane, any contacts who have already been designated to receive points earned by this contact appear in the pane. To:

Designate who receives points
- Click
in Award Points header.
- In the Add Award Points To panel, all contacts at the same firm appear. Check the box next to a contact who should receive points, or check the Contact box to select all contacts.
- Enter the amount of points the contact will earn for each unit of a point-eligible service in Multiply By (whole numbers only). For example, if this is one of your best clients, you might want to award them double-points for every point-eligible service you offer. Default is 1.
- Click Save.

Update or remove a recipient
- Click the hyperlinked contact in Award Points To pane.
- In the Edit Award Points To panel:
- To update the recipient’s points multiplier, edit the number in *Multiply By (required). Then click Save.
- To remove the recipient, click Delete. Then click Yes in the popup.
