Scheduling conference rooms
If you want to schedule conference rooms for jobs so you can avoid double-booking rooms, follow this procedure:
 Set up room as a resource
  Enter your conference rooms in RB’s Resources database, not the Locations database. See Adding resources to RB. 
  
 Select room as job location
  
   - When entering a job, in the New Job/Edit Job window’s Job Location pane, select Resource in Location Type. See Entering job locations.
 
   - In the Lookup Resource panel, search for and select the conference room. See Searching in RB.
 
   - Click Save.
 
  
  
 Assign room as a resource
   
    - In the View Job window, click Edit.
 
    - Click Edit Job > Tasks or scroll down to the Tasks pane.
 
    - Click 
 in the Tasks pane. 
    - In the New Task panel, select your conference room type in *Task (required).  Task types are set in Lists > Jobs.
 
    - Click 
 next to the Resource field. 
    - In the Assign Resource panel, click the Resource Type 
 and select Conference Room as the type. Resource types are set in Lists > Resources. 
    - Click Save.
 
    - Click 
. 
    - In the results grid, click the room’s 
 > Assign. Then click Save. 
    - Click No in the popup. RB creates the task and removes the room from your available resources for the time period scheduled. This way, you cannot double-book a room and you can see the schedule for your conference rooms in Resource Availability (see Managing resource availability).
