Deleting cases
You can delete any case that does not have jobs attached to it. If there are jobs attached to the case, remove them from the case. Then you can delete the case from your RB database.
- In a View Case/Edit Case window, click Delete.
- Click Yes in the popup that appears. If there are no jobs attached, the case will be deleted.
- If there are jobs attached to the case, a popup will appear telling you the case cannot be deleted. Click OK.
- In the View Case/Edit Case window, click More > Jobs (List View).
- In the Jobs (List View) window, all jobs attached to the case are listed. Click a hyperlinked Job No.
- In the View Job window, click Edit.
- In the Edit Job window, click the Case field’s
> Remove Case.
- Click Save > Save & Close.
- Repeat steps 5–8 for each job in the list.
- When all jobs have been detached from the case, close the Jobs (List View) window.
- In the View Case/Edit Case window, click Delete again.
