Entering general user information
Enter work-related info about the user.
- If not already in the user account you want to update, click Setup > Users and Groups, then click the hyperlinked name of the user you want to update, and click Edit in the View User window.
- In the Edit User window’s General pane, enter text in fields or make selections:

First Name
User’s given name

Mi.
User’s middle name or initial

Last Name
User’s family name

*Full Name
Required. Select the naming convention you use for user accounts in the drop-down.

Email
User’s work email address. Click
to send email directly to user. See Emailing from RB.

Work Phone
User’s phone number you prefer to call for work-related issues

Account is locked out
If a user has made too many incorrect attempts to log into RB9, the system will lock them out. Click to select No to allow the user to log in again. The number of incorrect attempts is set in System Preferences > General > Login.

Active
Yes is selected by default. If you no longer need to contact or assign the user anymore, click to select No. The user will remain in the database, but no longer appear in lists of users.

*Login Name
Required. If you are not using email addresses for login, a unique user name can be entered here.

Reset Password
If the user lost their password or otherwise needs a new password for RB9:
- Click Reset Password.
- In the Reset Password panel, enter their new password in both *New Password and *Confirm New Password (both required).
- Click Save.

Date Started
User’s date of employment/contract commencement with your company

Date of Termination
If applicable, date of user’s employment/contract termination with your company

Title
User’s job title. Job titles are set in Lists > Users.

Department
Specialized division of your organization. Departments are set in Lists > Users.

Company
If user works for a different company, you can enter the company name. (This is not the same as business units.)

Manager
User’s supervisor

Notes
Any information about the user not covered in other fields/selections
- In the Edit User window, click Save.
