Producing miscellaneous sales reports

RB9 only

Generate reports summarizing clients’ miscellaneous charges. Reports can show each client’s amount totals and averages for specific date ranges, clients, service items, and business units.

  1. Set parameters

    1. Reports > Misc. Sales
    2. In the Search By pane, specify the following search filters:
      • *Post Date From/*Post Date To

        Required. Enter an invoice date range. See Date Navigator. Default is today. Invoices posted for the specified period will be summarized.

      • Service Item Subgroup

        Only those service items belonging to the selected subgroup appear in the Lookup Service Items panel.

      • Service Items

        Default is ALL. To restrict search to specific service item(s), click lookup button and make selection(s) in the Lookup Service Items panel. (See Lookup panel.)

      • Sold To Parent Firm

        Multi-office firm headquarters which ordered services.

      • Sort By
        • Firm Name – Default. Results will appear in alphabetical order.
        • Total Amount – Results will appear in ascending order of total amount billed.
      • Show Detail
        • Yes – Default. Will present results grouped by contacts.
        • No – Will compile results from all contacts in a firm into one entry in the list.
      • Business Units

        Profit centers or parts of your business you track separately. Default is ALL. Click lookup button to restrict search to invoices tied to specific BUs (see Lookup panel). BUs are set in Business Units.

  2. View results

    Click search button. RB9 summarizes all of the invoices that meet the specified search condition(s) as a report. The search criteria used to generate the report appear at the bottom of each page of the report above the timestamp.

  3. Export/print results

    Export the report to save it and/or edit it in another application, or print it. See Printing invoices, statements & reports.
