Analyzing tracking productivity

RB9 only

See how many tracking items have been finished on time, by item, step, manager, or resource.

  1. Set parameters

    1. Reports > Tracking Productivity Analysis

    2. In the Search By pane, specify the following search filters:

      • Type
        • By Item – Default. Lists all tracking items as categories.
        • By Step – Lists any tracking items that have completed steps within the selected time frame.
        • By Manager-Item – Lists all tracking items assigned to managers, grouped by manager.
        • By Assign-To Step – Lists all tracking items and their steps assigned to resources, grouped by resource.
      • *Finished Date From/*Finished Date To

        Required. Completed tracking item date range.

      • Show Quarterly

        No – Default. View tracking item totals by years and months (in expanded view).

        Yes – Add quarterly totals to expanded view.

      • Business Units

        Profit centers or parts of your business you track separately. Default is ALL. Click lookup button to restrict search to jobs tied to specific BUs (see Lookup panel). BUs are set in Business Units.

  2. View results

    1. Click search button. RB9 summarizes all of the items that meet the specified search condition(s) as an interactive report.
    2. To view details of:
      • All results, click Expand/Collapse >
        • Expand Item: (If searched by item) All items listed expand to display item status.

        • Expand Step: (If searched by step) All items listed expand to display steps and their status.

        • Expand Manager: (If searched by manager-item) All managers listed expand to display items and their status.

        • Expand Assign To: (If searched by assign to-step) All resources listed expand to display items, steps and their status.

        • Expand Date: Yearly grouping(s) expand to display amounts by months.

      • Single result, click detail button next to the result. RB9 displays the next level of the result’s details.

  3. Export/print results

    To export and save the results, click export button > Export to Excel. See Exporting & printing results.
