Printing labels

RB9 only

With a DYMO printer and RB9 Label Templates, you can print labels for correspondence or packages.

Continued from Printing envelopes and labels.

1. In the Envelopes and Labels window, Print To defaults to Label. Change the label defaults, if desired:

   • Type

     Select:

     • Dymo Label (.label) – If you are using DYMO Label Web Service to print labels. (This is discontinued software.)
     • Dymo Label (.dymo) – If you are using DYMO Connect to print labels.

     NOTE: Install DYMO application first to print labels

     If you have not installed and configured the DYMO application on your computer, a popup will appear instructing you to do so. You cannot print labels without the DYMO system set up for printing labels in a web environment and running. See Setting up for online label printing.

   • Printer

     Your DYMO printer appears by default. If you have multiple DYMO printers, select one in the drop-down.

     If you don’t see your printer, click to refresh the printer list.

   • Label

     Select the type of label you want to print in the drop-down. (Labels are set up in Tools > Label Templates.)

2. Click Print.

NOTE: Set up custom label templates for company-wide use

Create DYMO labels customized to your company’s needs, then store them in RB9 for everyone on your staff to use. To create DYMO label templates, see Creating DYMO label templates. To add your label templates to RB9, see Managing label templates.
